The NutshellThe mission of The Nutshell Gift Shop is to provide devotional materials, inspirational items and gifts. The proceeds from The Nutshell sales go towards the connectional mission giving of Walnut Hill United Methodist Church.

Christmas gifts, decorations and specialty items have arrived in The Nutshell this week! Featured are unique nativity sets...some musical, some “pretty for the eyes, but not the hands” (in other words, breakable!), and some that are very child friendly!

Twenty six hand-beaded Chrismons (Christ Monograms), created by Jo Biggerstaff, are ready to decorate your tree. There are twelve different styles available. Pictured is the “Chi Rho,” the first two letters in “Christ” in Greek. It is one of the oldest Christ Monograms known.

Angels are an integral part of our Advent and Christmas celebrations. The Nutshell has some very unique angels available.

For those who spend lots of time in the kitchen during the season, there are Christmas aprons in several designs. Of course, you need a “Letter To Santa” flour sack tea towel to go with that apron!
