Christmas Season Perks Prepared for C. C. Young by Circle of Hope
Fun, food, fellowship, and a flurry of activity filled the Circle of Hope's November 17th meeting at the home of Joyce Cochran. Led by circle leaders Dorothy Kellam and Susan Dawson, goodie bags were quickly assembled for delivery to C.C. Young's auxiliary in time for December's seasonal and regular events.
The women of the Circle of Hope prepare bags of items for C.C. Young that are used as Welcome Bags, Bingo Prizes and Special Bingo Prizes through their Outreach program for their residents and community.
C.C. Young is a nonprofit, multiservice retirement community that is located in Dallas, Texas and was founded in 1922. Their facilities support the following:

The Thomas is a single-story building offering one and two bedroom accommodations.
The Blanton offers compassionate care and support 24-hours a day. and offers studio, one and two bedroom apartments in a mid-rise setting.
The Cove at C. C. Young is a nurturing Assisted Living community that provides comprehensive care for those with Alzheimer’s disease or other types of dementia.
The Circle of Hope is planning a tour of the facilities in January or February that would include a complimentary lunch at The Point restaurant. The tour would take from 11:00 to 1:00 pm, including lunch. The tour would include all interested persons so look for more information in the coming month(s) to sign up and see this wonderful Methodist mission serving the retired community in Dallas.
