Walnut Hill Church is a place where YOU belong!
We love ALL people into relationship with Jesus Christ by connecting and serving with our neighbors.
Worship In-Person or Online
We worship every Sunday in-person at 11 am in the Sanctuary. Please join us in-person or online through our Online Church Portal every week or on our facebook page. Online, you may participate in worship, connect with friends, and remain distant and safe, if that is a concern. Worship is always filled with great music to inspire us all, scriptural teaching to empower us to live out our faith together, and always includes something for the kids as well.
Commonly Asked Questions:
What IS worship like?
Our worship service starts at 11 am. Worship is a combination of liturgy (call and response), prayers, music, and sermon! Some Sundays, we will have a violinist, other Sundays, there might be a folk band. We offer a variety of music as well as preaching that is series based and always from the Bible, God's Holy scriptures.
Is childcare Provided?
We have created safe and fun spaces for your kids. On Sundays we offer one Sunday school class at 9:30 where kids can play, socialize with one another and learn solid Christ-centered teaching that will help them take the next step in their faith journey.
During the 11 am Worship Service we offer childcare for 3 and under. We have hired staff that are excellent in providing wonderful care to our children.

Do you have a CLASS or Group for me?
We have Sunday school classes at 9:30 am. that are online and in-person! Currently our Kids ministry is running a combined Sunday school class that incorporates the main scripture story of the day and activities. All kids are welcomed ages 3 and up. For kids under 2, we have a nursery option available. During worship, we also offer a brief Kids' Church where kids can be together for learning and activities during the sermon. Please contact Rev. Melissa Nelms for more information, 405-589-6582.
Where Do I park?
We have parking on the north and east parking lots, and entrances are accessible from both of those areas on Sunday mornings. Our 3 main Sunday entrances are through the Atrium (where the porte-cochere is located) and the East Entry (where you will find a handicap ramp).
We also have handicap parking for those who have mobility challenges, and handicap accessibility from all of those entrances.

What is the Dress?
You'll find people dressed in anything from jeans to a sports jacket and slacks! Some women wear jeans while others wear their "Sunday best." You can be certain that you are welcome in whatever clothes you feel most comfortable in.
How Will I know Where to Go?
We have greeters at all our three main entrances to help you find your way. Signage also directs you to our Welcome Center and other room locations. If you are a first time guest, we invite you stop at the welcome desk where our hospitality team will greet you. We are so glad you have chosen to join us!
During the week, because of safety for our Creative School students, we ask that all guests enter through the Atrium doors. Ring the bell and someone will assist you.
If you are looking for the location of a specific class or activity, please simply ask, and someone will be happy to escort you to your destination.
